deljones wrote: Hmmm... How do you get a cue list into the superplayback... Certainly not by dragging D the one way I've found is to open the "playback" section of the Super Playback ( menu > play ) and use select to get cuelists into the Super Playback: pressing select on a cuelist assigned to a regular playback instantly hooks it to the Super Playback. Alternatively, I think you can press and hold select in the Superplayback window (lower righthand corner) and press a button on a regular playback to load it onto the SuperPlayback (not sure, don't have a physical desk with me now, doesn't work on PC). Have not found a way yet to load cuelists onto the Super Playback directly from the cuelist QuickPicker. Very much hoping it's there, though... _________________ Regards, DutchGuyDesign Erik Steijvers "I am not only the president of the giggling little bitches' club, I am also a member" http://www.dutchguydesign.com S3 M1 |

To trigger cuelists from the touchscreens, add a couple of virtual E2wings and drag them to somewhere you can fit them, then load them up with cuelists!

Thanks, but I've been using virtual E2 wings on the touchscreens (running Vista v1) for a while now. I was hoping to find a way of using the Multi Quick Picker to trigger cuelists in the same way as it recalls presets, groups & FX (since it now has a drop-down option for Cuelists).
I think I'd better have another read of the manual as I can't find a way of using the Cuelist Quick Picker other than edit/rename/etc. _________________ Jands Vista S3 on Win7 PC, Q6600 quad-core @3Ghz, 2 x 22"HD Touchscreens |

I've just discovered the new Fixture Editor - THANK YOU!
I've got 30x "LEDJ Zoom Par 64" units on tomorrow's show and was contemplating programming them as RGBI units with two extra generic dimmers for strobe & zoom. Then I noticed the Fixture Editor icon on the desktop and it took less than 2 minutes to create a custom profile for them. Thanks again! _________________ Jands Vista S3 on Win7 PC, Q6600 quad-core @3Ghz, 2 x 22"HD Touchscreens |

I just had the same problem but I've found a workaround, you can now make parameter release cues:- Edit the Cue List & duplicate the Cue that would have required a Latch button, then select all the parameters in the new Cue, right-click and select "Convert to Release Event". If you now trigger the Cue List using a standard Play button it will operate as if it had a Latch button. Hope that works for you. _________________ Jands Vista S3 on Win7 PC, Q6600 quad-core @3Ghz, 2 x 22"HD Touchscreens |

I hope "latch" returns soon... _________________ Regards, DutchGuyDesign Erik Steijvers "I am not only the president of the giggling little bitches' club, I am also a member" http://www.dutchguydesign.com S3 M1 |

One advantage of programming a latch this way is that you can create a sequenced release of parameters.
The attached example shows a Cuelist for a white 'wipe' travelling centre-out on a line of PixelPars. The 2nd Cue ("Latch OFF") will then release the parameters with the same sequence and timing back to the previous Cuelist. http://www.richardollis.co.uk/latchcue.jpg _________________ Jands Vista S3 on Win7 PC, Q6600 quad-core @3Ghz, 2 x 22"HD Touchscreens |

Nevertheless, it is the long way ' round if all you want from your particular cuelist is to switch your hazer on and off... _________________ Regards, DutchGuyDesign Erik Steijvers "I am not only the president of the giggling little bitches' club, I am also a member" http://www.dutchguydesign.com S3 M1 |

Insert, resize, erase, etc. all seem to be working on mine (Win7 64bit, Intel i7, 8GB RAM), although I've only tried it with JPEGs _________________ Jands Vista S3 on Win7 PC, Q6600 quad-core @3Ghz, 2 x 22"HD Touchscreens |

Check the position of the second fader on the superplayback when it is in IPCG mode. Quote: User Guide p. 9-6... Editor ‘Live’ time The fader located, on the right side, below the encoder wheels can be used to adjust the Live time. At the top (100%) position the Intensity, Position, Colour and other feature settings fade in over the ‘Live time’ set in the Editor window. At the bottom (o%) position the feature settings fade in over 0 seconds – i..e they snap to the new value. |

Hi swatson12,
swatson12 wrote: When i try and load an image for the background of the fixture chooser. Byron crashes on me! Is anyone else having the same problem?? Congratulations, you're the first to report a crash in the Public Beta. Hopefully you've got some crash logs that you can send us at support@jandsvista.com. The release notes detail how to collect these on Windows or Linux consoles. If possible, please also send a copy of the image you were trying to load. Just a reminder to everyone - please tell us about ALL crashes and "things that don't seem to work right" in the Public Beta via email to support@jandsvista.com. Remember - if you don't tell us about it, we can't fix it! Thanks and Kind Regards, Alex Mair Jands Pty Ltd |
