So I've been doing a lot of busking. Not lately, just, ya know, most of the time... And so I tend to not programme in a very structured manner: on new shows, I make what I need, first, and then start adding what I'd like. I make a couple of movement presets here, some gobo bumps there, a color fade, an iris effect, what have you. And all of these need to have their own specific playback/ tracking / release properties. Which means I'm constantly in and out of the cuelist and cue properties dropdown menus, and it takes up too much time. Or, at least I think so. So here's some suggestions I have:
1. I'd like to see the cuelist properties and cue properties "merged". What I mean is I'd like to open up both cuelist and cue properties in the same window, but still separated from each other. Basically glue the two windows together, with the option to save cuelist settings as default, but leave the cue defaults as is (or the other way 'round). That way, you could more easily change properties for cuelists / cues, that need both propeties changed, and it would be easier to set up defaults for lists you're going to want to programme next. 2. the cue(list) properties window currently pops up in the middle of the screen, but you can expand them significantly by opening the drop-down / tree options. At some point, the bottom of the window can disappear below the lower edge of the screen (at least on the Windows and Mac versions). Please consider having the pop-up window appear higher on-screen, so we won't have to collapse the options or drag the entire window to another place on-screen. 3. I'd love an option to change the cuelist properties settings, and then not only save them as default for newly created cuelists, but to be able to select a number of pre-exixting cuelists to which the new properties settings can be applied. You know, so that, when you've been an idiot - like I am often - and you've programmed a bunch of cuelists that all require a different release timing than the one currently set as default, you don't have to go into each and every one of them to change that setting... Any takers...? _________________ Regards, DutchGuyDesign Erik Steijvers "I am not only the president of the giggling little bitches' club, I am also a member" http://www.dutchguydesign.com S3 M1 |

Hi, I agree for these 3 points!...
Maybe if we can open the cues and cuelists properties with only hards buttons it can be more useful, It's boring to change the view all the times and use right clic for this. For example a combination of 2 modifiers keys and playback select > open cuelist properties windows ? ?... _________________ jm.jolivet@mac.com http://web.mac.com/jm.jolivet/jm.jolivet_/Accueil.html |

I especially like the idea of modifying more than one cuelist at a time. I find myself going through lots of cuelists making changes. Sound helpful.

I really like #1. That would really speed things up when changing lots of properties.
#2 and 3, sure, why not. Not sure how I would use it but I could see it being useful. _________________ Ben Coleman Premier Production Services Harrisburg, PA T2/S1 |
