Post Boot loop on WAAPA's T2 vista
After having a very unstable byron we decided to go back to vista one, the installation runs through fine, However after the install is finished the console gets stuck in a boot loop.

Love this desk when its show stable. :(

Any suggestions on how to get this desk up and running again?

That wouldn't happen to be V2.1.9596 on an original hardware Version1 T2?
If so: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2683

It is a V1 Tray as I was there when it was first bought. Was one of the first in Australia.
As Spartacus linked, I'd call Jands as it seems to be a reccuring issue for a few people at the moment, and they should have a solution for you. You shouldn't need to reinstall to use V1 by the way, as the Byron ISO has a dual boot option on startup to run V1.

I can say I ran a show last week just fine on a T2 running byron with an original V1 motherboard tray with no stability issues (except one bug i knew about which would cause a crash if the playback window is docked and hidden). Other than that, virtually no stability issues lately with Byron and I run it all year round. What particularly was unstable for you guys over there?

As an educational institution I would definately give Jands a call to see if they will help out with a motherboard/cpu tray upgrade. Unfortunately V2 software is a bit more demanding than V1 and the console will lag up a little bit on old hardware if you are running complex cuelists with lots of cues.
