LOL, I just read the quick blurb on the front page about the new software! I don't think I have been this excited about the Vista since the day that I unpacked mine from the box and used it on my first gig. Once again Jands is taking it to another level and blowing past the competition. This should help silence the critics and prove the the Vista is still the most progressive lighting control system out there. Well done Jands!

And now for the obvious question.......
Are those people that are nowhere near plasa going to get some Byron goodness? Will it be ready for released at plasa, or is it just going to be a preview? If it's just a preview, is there any chance I can get my grubby mitts on it and try to break it during my off-season, which is starting soon? Why Byron? Did someone spend a bit too much time there? |

Ah yes Byron, I was there touring back in 1994, purty little place. _________________ Paul Richardson. Vista I3. Perth, Western Australia. |

I too was very excited to hear of this announcement. It is great that their continuing support for the existing Vista users is standing strong especially in the case of not charging us for this major upgrade, like some other companies AHEM.
I look forward to trying out this new release and am keen to learn when this will be available even just to try (for those of us who aren't able to make to trip to Plasa It will be great to finally get some of the niggly little operational issues resolved at last _________________ Peter Rubie S3, S1, M1, Sydney NSW |

I'll join the queue of excited Vista users !!
If the features in this new release don't show all and sundry that Vista is the "wave of the future" lighting platform I think theyre just not looking closely enough . The amount of development time which has gone into this release should also ( hopefully ) mean a pretty glitch free experience and create even more of those "yes we can" situations you just love to have when using Vista . I'm really hoping that Byron puts the vista platform firmly on the map amongst the rest of the mainstream consoles. I love the thing to death, but recently I've been considering buying a road hog simply because not many people out there are willing to learn the vista, and I need something better than a hog1k. If Byron can convert those naysayers, it will do very well indeed.

I thread like this can't be complete without a post from you Ruben
I am curious too when it will be released but I have to say, it looks like it will have been well worth waiting for. _________________ Ben Coleman Premier Production Services Harrisburg, PA T2/S1 |

Funny thing is I've been so busy rendering gigs for the upcomming season that I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for mark...
Btw. Check out the Jands vista peoples page. Attn glyn: could I have a couple screenshots for the page on d-day? If you are too busy I'll gladly take the screenshots myself |
