Post Play on fader up issue
I typically use the "play on fader up" feature in the clip preferences for several of my clips. I've got a weird thing happening where it doesn't work when a clip is on one fader bank but it does work on a different bank. We're running a S3 and S1 on Windows XP. A clip will be working properly on one fader, I drag it to another bank and it stops working. It happens to all clips that I've tested and it doesn't seem to matter what fader it's on. Only the bank seems to affect the problem.

I'm running V1 1.13.5289 (I know... it's old and I'm going to try updating this week)
I checked the firmware and I'm running bootloader firmware: 437 and application firmware: 561 on both consoles.

I could be going crazy but I think the problem started happening when I added the S1 to our setup. Both consoles are running the same firmware though, I checked.

Is this a physical problem with the desk or something? Seems unlikely if I'm correct about the adding S1 idea.

Thanks in advance,
Sam

Update:

I updated the Vista software to the newest version on the website... 1.13 (build 5307). This brought my Vista application firmware up to 642.

The problem still exists. The "go on fader up" property of a clip does not work when the clip is located anywhere on the left most fader bank. The same clip works correctly when it's placed anywhere else on the console.

That happened to me last week as well. It didn't work after I moved the clip from one fader to another. It was not consistent though, it only happened on a few clips that I moved, not all of them.

Darryl got back to me after I submitted a support request and he got me up and running again.

He had me open her up and disconnect and reconnect the fader bank cable. Done!
