Post Altman Spectra Par - No Intensity
We had 8 Altman Spectra Par 100s installed by an integrator and set up in V2 on a Mac. My only issue is that we cannot control the intensity of the fixtures and it makes doing any special effects with them a little difficult. The integrator has since quit the business and taken a job with another company so reaching out for support is not working to say the least. They were patched into Vista as SSP108MS.

Can anyone shed light on whether you can actually control the intensity of these or not? We were told by the integrator at installation that these lights just don't support that. I'm having a hard time believing that but want to verify here with those who can tell me for sure.

Any help is appreciated!!!

There may be a mismatch between the Vista fixture file and the mode the fixture is set to. The file you are using (SSP108MS) is a 5 channel mode (Red, Green,Blue, Amber Intensity).
From what I can see in the user manual:
https://www.altmanlighting.com/wp-conte ... al-RTB.pdf
There are 8 personalities and you can tell how your fixtures are set using the fixture menu and display or at startup:
"The current active Personality # is displayed for about 1 second during power up. The format is Pxx where xx is replaced by the active personality #01-08."
There's two 5 channel modes:
#03 Master On, Smoothing Off
#04 Master On, Smoothing On

Gotcha. I will verify the fixtures are set to correctly match the profile in Vista. Thanks for the advice!
