Post visualisers needed for set up
We have a large range of set ups and we are running into issues not having enough time on locations to program, or at home not a large enough space to fly enough of the light rig to get it programed either. So we have been looking for a Visualiser program to use with out Vista M1 - 512 channels for now. We are thinking soon we may need to go to 1024 but not sure on the time frame and just want to make sure we don't price ourselves out of an upgrade.

Looked at ESP 4 vision but not a stand alone program do not need the high end Cad set up.
Looked at Realizzer - Seems ok but all metric and is missing some of the newer lights (not sure on the support)
Tried Capture Argo the student version and could not get Vista to "talk" with Capture
Looked at someone's suggestion of Magic 3D Easy View but didn't look like a stand alone program?

Cast / WYSIWYG is way to high of price for us right now.

We have been currently putting up 52 Feet of truss with 12 movers, 24+ various LED fixtures, DJ lights etc. We do live sound for bands, large and small school dances, larger weddings and a few corporate events so I need something that isn't going to kill the pocket book but have good support.

We have quite a bit invested in Vista (M1 and 512 USB) and I've been pretty good at learning to program over the last few years but if we can not find a good program we can afford, I feel we may have to take a step down and get into the higher DJ programs that do offer basic visualizing programs included with it's DMX controller, but most of these are PC only based. It works fine in a church or event what is set up and we have the time to program with everything powered. Anyone else in this area or know of any programs that could help?

I have the student edition of Capture Argo (trying to replicate our main sanctuary with Sketch up) and it was very simple to connect the two on the same computer. In capture did you see the universe connected? If not your problem is in how your setting up Jands to connect to universes. If you see the universes, makes sure you are also patching the fixture into Capture argo to the same location as Jands vista. You do this by hitting the wrench, sequences, and then down to patch

Take a look at Lightconverse. You need minimum Net-In license to connect your console.
