FadeCurve Soft Buttons

One little thing I recently came across that would be small, but nice to have.

I use Resolume Arena4 as our media server to drive all of our screens. It's a great little program. One thing though, on the master "fixture" there is a trigger column channel used to actually trigger the media. 9 times out of 10, I want that channel to trigger at the start of the cue. I think it's just the way the fixture profile is setup, but it's triggering at the end of the cue.

I did try to go into that fixture and set a little rule through the transforms tab to have that particular channel always use the "Snap at Start" dimmer curve. I may not have set it up properly, but it didn't work right. So now what I do is set the channel, go to timeline, find that event, right click, dimmer curve, snap at start.

Well, I was looking through the different buttons you can assign to the softkeys and I noticed a menu for fade curve under timeline, but there are no options in the drop down menu. It would be helpful, for me at least, if I could assign the "Snap to Start" fade curve to a softkey so I can just select the event and hit that key.

Super duper small, but hey it's a suggestion. If anyone knows an easier way to go about this, it would be much appreciated. Cause I spend a lot of time setting fade curves for that channel.

I've added it to the buglist that the menu is blank for fadecurve when attempting to add it as a softkey.
The channel transform won't work as it is for the fadecurve of the actual attribute, not the event itself.
The other option is just select that event in the timeline, double click it change the duration to 0s.

So, for the transform thing. If you set a channel with a fade curve of SnapStart it wouldn't make all the events you create for that channel have that fade curve?

No, the transform changes the path at which that channel fades to full.
Ie. snap at start would mean the channel would go from 0 to 255 instantly which would be no good to you as you need 1 bit increments for each trigger point.
